In 2002, Denis Bourges photography daily monks of the abbey and tourists at Mont Saint-Michel. Through his work on the monastery and strolling in the streets face to tourists, he confronts both. Denis Bourges brings together two worlds totally different, but live a "daily" close to one another without overlap. Parables of a world which ignores borders and which does not resemble him.
It is in the camera, Denis Bourges hunts across societies. "One world, one, work started four years ago, aims to show the world who live together without being seen. Moreover, it covers: secular and Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem, and neglected classes rising to Victoria Station in Bombay between the stone walls, amount of other walls, invisible, that divide peoples.
