Rêver les yeux ouverts

Rêver les yeux ouverts

Going against his attraction to the capitals and urban centers and in the continuity of his earlier work focused on identity and territory, Susanna Pozzoli offers us to think about the places we love every day, that we hold dear , places of dreams, memories which reveal our feelings of belonging to a space.
Responding to a call for participation widely distributed, the people photographed have told him their favorite places. These are places full of personal history, a shared experience gone forever, small corners to observe nature and to leave room for nostalgia.
Through the camera, Susanna was invited to discover these
personal environments, into the heart of secret gardens. On these same sites, shots were made, the bonding sites and favorite memories were evoked in an audio interview.
Susanna invites us to turn to make room for our imagination to discover what we do not see in his photographs: portraits and landscapes behind this is an imaginary walk through their magical places that these people have given us a real work on the inner projection.
