Tourists want cartoon characters. Tintin is interesting that the place itself: "Tintin in the Soviet countries" "Tintin au Congo" "Tintin in America". But Tintin in itself is empty as a tourist.
The tourist, vacuum vacuum, becomes a collector. Thus, in trophies trophies, can be compared and attempt to distinguish his colleague. Influencée par les événements de mai 68, Muriel Bordier décide de passer ses années de maternelle à remettre en cause les institutions scolaires. En 69, marquée par les exploits de la NASA, elle passe le reste de sa scolarité dans la lune. L’étude de Freud en terminal la conduit à passer son bac sur un divan. Après cinq années aux Beaux-arts de Reims à étudier la photographie orientaliste, elle part en vélo pour l’Egypte. Son sens de l’orientation approximatif la mène à Cuba, au Chili, au Pérou, en Bolivie, en Équateur, aux États-Unis, au Canada, en Alaska, etc…
Elle se retrouve en France par erreur où elle rencontre et s’associe à Emmanuel Reuzé, cinéaste néophyte. Ce dernier, ponctuellement en retard, a toujours raté les avions en partance pour l’exotisme: il n’a jamais dépassé le vidéoclub du coin de sa rue.
L’association de cette globe-trotteuse hilare et de ce mystique de la pantoufle donne naissance à TOURISTA, une vidéo sur le phénomène du tourisme qui leur fermera à jamais les portes d’Hollywood.
