Following the work carried out in Morocco ‘no story, or legend, Catherine Poncin explore albums in families from North African immigration in France (Miramas in Provence). With this new research explores and records the memories of people and materials. Traveling beyond the two sides, the sensitive area of the photographs’ fifties’ resistance, the years’ sixty-ten ‘age, blue, yellow, the grandparents may disappear … When the media on the signs disappear, others are reinvented … All these images are in a perpetual flux / reflux – return confusing places, banks, language, rituals and hearts …
